One year ago on August 18, the Trust and its partners, artists and curators debuted the inaugural exhibition of Beyond Granite. Timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the March on Washington, the first curated exhibition of its kind in the history of the National Mall was widely acclaimed and seen by 2 million people.

The Trust for the National Mall joined the National Park Service to celebrate the driving of the first pile that will provide foundational support of the reconstruction of the seawalls along the Tidal Basin and the Potomac River to address the severe flooding that endangers the cherry trees and this landmark space.

One of our favorite moments of 2023 was partnering with HUMANA to roll out pickleball courts on the National Mall FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, for three days of match play, community, and connection both on and off the courts.

The Trust for National Mall's Monumental View reception on March 21, 2024 gathered the National Park Service, the National Cherry Blossom Festival, supporters, benefactors, and special guests to an event overlooking the National Mall.
