National Mall Virtual Classroom
The Trust for the National Mall is pleased to partner with the National Mall and Memorial Parks Division of the National Park Service for an ongoing series of virtual educational programs designed for teachers and students. This program series helps bring the lessons of the National Mall, its monuments and memorials, and their associated legacies into classrooms around the country.

Join National Mall and Memorial Parks rangers and their friends for a teacher professional development series in honor of the completion of the Lincoln Memorial 100 years ago in 1922. In the final session of the Lincoln Memorial at 100 Teacher Workshop Series, we will look at events that have taken place at the Memorial. We began last fall with the 1922 Dedication, which examined what the builders and leaders in 1922 thought the Memorial meant. Over the years, events onsite have introduced different themes. We will explore some of the many activities here and how the meaning of the Memorial has evolved over time. Roosevelt Little White House State Historic Site in Warm Springs, Georgia; and the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial in Washington, D.C.
